Abstract Submission Guidelines
General information The Egg & Meat 2019 Scientific Programme Committee and Organising Committee welcome the submission of original contributions for oral and poster presentation.
The deadline for submission is February 8, 2019.
All authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by March 15, 2019.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the congress abstract book. Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by March 22, 2019 will be scheduled for presentation and included in the “Book of Abstracts”.

The authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines for abstract submission.
Abstract language: Abstracts and presentations must be written in English. It is expected that authors will submit carefully written and proofread material. Spelling and grammatical errors, as well as language usage problems, are on the responsibility of the authors.
Abstract structure and Length: The maximum length allowed for an abstract is 2,500 characters (approximately 350 words) including blanks. The abstract title, the names of author(s) and of the institutions are not included in the count of 2,500 characters.
The title of the abstract must be in capital letters. Full stops must be avoided at the end of the title. The researchers' full names must be written without the academic title. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.
Abstract content: All submitted abstracts must contain novel data. In order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please include a brief statement of the purpose of the study and/or the underlying hypotheses, the method used, the results observed, and the conclusions based upon the results. Abstracts stating "data will be discussed in the presentation" will not be accepted.
Abstract submission: All abstracts must be submitted through congress website www.eggmeat2019.com Abstracts submitted by regular mail, email or fax will not be accepted.
The presenting author must agree to register, to attend the Congress, and to present the abstract as scheduled.
To submit an abstract the author must first register by using the online abstract submission system. A username has to be entered consisting of the presenting author’s e-mail address and a password.
E-mail address, full mailing address, and phone numbers should be entered completely.
Authors are required to indicate their preference for either ORAL or POSTER presentation by checking the appropriate box on the submission web page.
When uploading the abstract, the system will direct you to upload the main body text of your abstract. A unique abstract reference number will be assigned and shown after your abstract submission has been completed.
